Teachers who build independent learners.
Our teachers include experienced GCE examiners, American Peace Corps volunteers and instructors with real-world industry experience. Together they help students think for themselves.
Experience in the classroom and in the field
GCE examiners
Experienced GCE examiners who know exactly what success in the examination demands, and how to prepare students for it.
Peace Corps volunteers
American Peace Corps volunteers bring an international outlook and fresh perspectives into our classrooms.
Industry instructors
Workshop instructors with real-world experience teach the skills international industries value.

Students at the centre of every lesson
Our teachers help students learn independently by making them active participants in their own learning.
- A participatory approach to learning
- Project-based learning that connects theory to practice
- Encouraging students to think outside the box
- Developing metacognitive skills: learning how to learn
- Student-centred, active learning in every subject
- Constant differentiation, so every learner is supported
Great teaching is never finished
Through a steady focus on staff development, we keep improving our teaching skills, and we see the results in our students’ achievements.
Develop
Ongoing staff development builds new teaching skills.
Teach
New methods go straight into classrooms and workshops.
Measure
Student achievement shows us what works and where to grow.
Teachers, parents and students, one team
Our teachers work closely with families. At the start of each year the school, parents and students agree on goals together, and parent-teacher conferences every trimester keep everyone on track. Slower learners receive one-on-one follow-up.
“Through a persistent focus on staff development, we upgrade the skills that continually improve our teaching.”
